SUCCESSFUL SPRINTER: Naples runner setting records at age 60
If you’re out at Sugden Regional Park on a Thursday evening and see a woman racing by in a blur, chances are you have just encountered Johnnie Reid, the 60-year-old Naples sprinter who set a record for her age group in March at the USA Track and Field Championships in Louisville, Kentucky. Reid set the American and world record with her time of 8.49 in the 60-meter race.
