Commissioners moving ahead with plans for $72M veterans nursing home

In 2019, Collier County spent $29.1 million to purchase the 167-acre Golden Gate Golf Course property to prevent overdevelopment, preserve open space and possibly build a veterans' home.

Collier County Commissioners are continuing with plans for a possible $72 million, 120-bed state veterans nursing home on the former Golden Gate Golf Course.
