Commissioner clarifies remarks on cutting funds for animal shelter
When County Commissioner Chris Hall suggested the county consider cutting Domestic Animal Services’ budget to help people and parks, pointing out that the shelter is no longer a kill-shelter and takes in pit bulls, it shocked pet lovers.
