A couple of hours before his blue Nike sneakers would be squeaking across the Alico Arena basketball court, his voice projecting commands and demands of the FGCU men’s basketball team, Pat Chambers sat on his back porch couch wearing that same stereotypical coach’s outfit: sneakers, blue sweatpants, white long-sleeve shirt and FGCU-branded hoodie and white cap emblazoned with the next generation FGCU logo.
