    Prayer walks continue as ‘radioactive’ road plans expand
    Walk for the Homies Part 3 started in Collier County in August and continued into Miami-Dade County on Saturday, October 14, beginning in pouring rain, then under clear skies, to continue again the second Saturday of each month.     Prayer walks continue as ‘radioactive’ road plans expand

    Rain drenched about 30 people in the recent Indigenous-led Walk for the Homies in October. Their prayers included a call to prevent the use of radioactive fertilizer waste from being used in roads, as the official requests for toxic materials in Florida roads expand.
