    VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATIONS

Helping to curb childhood illiteracy, one book at a time

Books for Collier Kids is a simple title for an organization that is anything but. Working quietly behind the scenes, a dedicated, all-volunteer group led by chair Sallie Williams toils to fulfill the 18-year-old nonprofit’s mission “to provide access to new books to children in need, primarily in pre-K through the second grade, to take home, share and cherish.”
