    Spooky Science Day at the library

    3-4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at the Estates Branch of the Collier County Public Libraries, 1266 Golden Gate Blvd. W., Naples. Bring your mad scientists, from kids to young teens, to the library on this no-school day to learn how to whip up some slime or brew some bubbly potions.     Our kind of golf — miniature — for a cause

    2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Marco Island Golf and Garden, 971 Winterberry Drive, Marco Island. It’s an afternoon of miniature golf, entertainment and community spirit at the Marco Island Golf and Garden to raise funds for the Marco Island Center for the Arts and the Arts Center Theatre. Afterward, at the Marco Island Center for the Arts, there are games, art activities, wine and lemonade, music by Joe Byrne, prizes, a raffle and more. Adult $25, ages under 12 $15.
