Multiple organizations in Southwest Florida are working to capture Burmese pythons, including, above, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, which recently surpassed the 20-ton milestone in Burmese python removal since 2013, while setting a personal record for this season (6,300 pounds). Officials find female python nests by tracking 40 chipped male pythons in this globally recognized program. The Conservancy is not associated with the state-sponsored python hunt.
