National Give Something Away Day, celebrated July 15, encourages people to donate to charities, perform acts of kindness or give a gift to someone to brighten their day. So, inspired by a Facebook post seeking support, summer camp students at North Naples Primrose School brought in pet food, toys and essentials for new pet owners to donate to Collier County Domestic Animal Services for that day. The school supplied 250 reusable bags for the donations, and the students made a field trip to the DAS to present them.
